Unfortunately, even if I could return the shoes, I'd be out several hundred dollars for import duties + return postage + insurance. I don't think I could get my money back on the resale market, either.
TBH, it was probably a bit fanciful of me to consider importing them! But the ankle wrap is really fun, and I've found it difficult to find shoes with block heels that look cute rather than office-y. (Though I think you could totally rock those in the right office.) I want to be able to dance and relax at my dear friend's wedding, and for me, that means a lower heel but ideally not a flat. So I'll keep on looking.
