Pinecone is an awesome color and looks very different from this photo IRL. This photo looks greenish when in reality it’s a lovely neutral. Don’t know about you but the last thing I need is another black bag. Have the Parachute in this new Pinecone shade and love it.
Omg yes def had this thought too (it wasn’t enough to dissuade me from buying it) but it def doesn’t close or stay closed very well!

Ok @ATLbagaddict maybe you knew this but if not I’ve done some sleuth work on the bag. The inside of the bag (one side of the magnet) is supposed to fold over and attach to the outside of the suede . So instead of the magnets attaching its magnet leather to suede magnet . Kind of folded over. Holds much better and explains a lot. Hope that makes sense (or maybe you already knew it. Either way Bottega should spring for stronger magnets)Haha! i agree! I mean it’s not like it was expensive or anything
Oo I did not know that, and just tried it and it works much better !! Thank you! Yes I wasn’t super concerned since I planned to use it mostly open anyways (since it’s not a gaping big opening or anything) but it did seem strange to me. But yes - stronger magnets would make more sense!
I used the Jason Markk Repel spray. I like that it’s not an aerosolized can. So far so good!
Thanks! Never heard of this one but I’ll check it out. Of course Bottega said we don’t recommend treating it which is annoying. I have the suede fondant so if you were ok and it didn’t stain your gorgeous light suede that makes me feel like it’s prob ok
I hope it works for you! I had purchased the Apple Gard suede protector in the past and used it on a different suede bag. I didn’t like the strong chemical smell. And I felt like it made my suede feel kind of stiff.
