Do you still have all three? If so would love to see a picture of how the .26 and .47 look compared to one another. If not would love to see the .47 on for size reference. I keep wondering if I should go closer to .40.
Ok so I put all three on… .21 E color plat, .26 G color, and .47 H color rose gold. I’ve gained weight (working on losing the lbs so been wearing a different necklace lately lol) so the chain does not hang down as much and perhaps make the diamonds appear smaller due to my weight gain, but hopefully this helps. I also have individual pictures of each I can repost if you like. I don’t think you will regret going bigger. Each time I have gotten this necklace I have done just that. I think this necklace is perfectly acceptable in G, H, I color range and VS2 depending on availability in order to go bigger in size. I have gone down in color each time and I can’t tell the difference in this necklace. Click on picture it will appear clearer.

You are awesome! Thank you so so much! Don't be hard on yourself either they look lovely!

You make me want to go larger of course which I had been thinking. The largest I have received info on was a .37 ct, H, VS1. Says the dimensions are 4.64 mm or a .33 ct F, VS1 or .33 ct H, VS1 (the second one the SA has coming to their store for me to look at). Those are 4.44 mm not sure I will even be able to tell! I would love to ask about options maybe .40 ct or slightly larger to see what happens with price and what they have.

Anyway...thank you thank you!

All three are gorgeous! But my favorite is the rose gold one, I'm not sure if it's because it's the largest one or because of the color and how it suits you beautifully.

thanks again! Maybe it is because I know but I feel like you can the difference in size.
I can see the difference in size between these two bc they are next to each other. I sometimes think about getting a bigger platinum one in the .4 range, but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I have another basket solitaire necklace in white gold (.70) non Tiffany and thought about going bigger on that. I know when I was deciding on dbty’s I agonized over it. LOL.

Ha ha obviously I agonize too 😜😜😜

I think I mentioned I have a .82 ct basket too was my original engagement diamond. I’m guessing going up to mid .40 ct range would mean $1000 more.

Thank you!! I think the rose gold is my favorite because the chain blends more into my skin (I have pink undertones). But I also like the size the most. My other jewelry is mostly white gold or platinum, but I like to mix metals too.

Rose gold is definitely perfect for you! I'm very tempted to try upgrading my platinum to rose gold. I love how it blends with my skin, and I also think DBTY looks particularly good in rose. But I mainly wear yellow gold and we're currently shopping for a white gold ER, so I promised myself not to get rose gold to keep from introducing too many colors, as I'm not a fan of mixing metals on myself. I'm also struggling to decide whether to upgrade my DBTY or just take the loss on selling it and go with the C de Cartier, since I absolutely love their shiny chain.

I have a question as I come up with options etc… I had been looking at the Soleste months ago with SA in store then did chat while thinking of DBTY then in store SA showed me what she had and is doing a transfer. Long story short still contemplating DBTY size etc. Do the diamond specialists/chat reps receive commission? I wish I could search inventory on my own and not ask. Thank you

What size platinum dbty do you currently have and if you went with rose gold would you go up in size? Do you wear your dbty everyday? I will have to check out the C de Cartier (do they come in different metals and sizes?).

I have a 0.23-carat platinum DBTY necklace that I used to wear daily for about two years until I transitioned to yellow gold. Once I started wearing Cartier yellow gold bracelets daily, I essentially stopped wearing the DBTY. For the upgrade, it’s a requirement to double the size, so I’d need to go for around 0.5 carats, which I think is a great size for everyday wear.

As for the C de Cartier collection, it’s available in white, yellow, and rose gold, with a range of sizes. When I was considering one, my SA showed me the inventory on the computer, including various sizes, gold colors, and diamond clarity options. There’s an impressive range to choose from. While I’m not sure of the smallest size, it might be around 0.18 carats, I was focused on larger stones, closer to 0.5–1 carat.

Additionally, you could consider the Cartier 1895 line for something with a similar look to the DBTY. It also comes in white, yellow, and rose gold and offers a wide range of sizes, just like the C de Cartier collection. The chains in the 1895 line are the same shiny finish as those in the C de Cartier collection.

Well went to store yesterday and transfer arrived. I was still thinking about going up in size or higher color grade but was surprised by size and the sparkle! I could have gone to .37 ct for $300 more (mine is .33 ct) or upgrade the color from H to F for $150. Would I even be able to tell either?

I did try Soleste pendant again and it didn’t have sparkle/presence.

I think this looks perfect on you! I don’t think it needs to be any bigger personally. I also prefer this to the Soleste and think you made a great choice.

Looks great on you! This makes me want to wear mine again. I don't think you'd be able to see any color difference in this size of the diamond unless you're extremely color sensitive. You might be able to see the size difference, 12% should be a visible difference in this size. If you're thinking about a larger one, you should try it on. I think it's better to try on 100 times 100 different options than regret your choice later. Just IMHO after many expensive mistakes!
