Problems closing the Andiamo clutch

I love the look of the Andiamo clutch, but it is sooo difficult to close. There is always a lot of resistance and it is hard to get the angle right. Do any of you who own the clutch feel the same way or do I maybe have a defective one? Thanks in advance!

It’s hard to close. The pointy part should be facing up when you close, like the picture below. It’s bc the hook isn’t a circle, so you can’t stick it in in any direction. Was driving me nuts until I saw someone post a video review who shared that. Still not easy to close, but waaaayy better
