I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

One plus for anyone desperate enough to seek out the Olive Garden Annex for temporary shelter (and there may be some, the # of displaced with no place to go is staggering) is the 16 bathrooms should transfer to short lines waiting to use the Loo. MEgain used to shill for “Poo-Pourri” ( perhaps prophetically the label says “Royal Flush”) so it’s probable she keeps it stocked and the air in each can remain “fresh”.

Added bonus, fresh eggs for breakfast and crates of jam to “elevate” the toast.

Question: What exactly does it mean to be “as truthful as possible”? Isn’t the truth absolute? Isn’t it black and white? So there’s ‘the truth’ and then anything short of ‘the truth’ is an untruth, a lie, a fallacy…it’s fiction (as defined by Merriam-Webster).

So, again, what did Oprah mean when she said H&M wanted to be “as truthful as possible”? “As possible”? In my book, if people are only aiming to be as truthful as possible, then by definition they're not being 100% truthful. They’re telling a story, again…just fiction.

As a semi-related aside, I strongly believe there is no such thing as “my truth”. There is “the truth” and there is “my opinion”, but no such thing as “my truth”. I’ve heard Meghan mention “her” truth multiple times and it drives me crazy every time…but I digress…

Another time was when Philip died right before the Oprah interview was originally scheduled and they had to postpone airing it. It appears that fate works against them. It is wonderful to behold.

Why not have Betterup the corporation that pays you millions for god knows what donate their services instead of asking for free labor under the Archewell name?? Even AirBnB is giving free stays to those affected. Make it make sense🤪

Yeah, I perused them. The sad thing is, her supporters don't realize if they approached her on the street gushing with praise and admiration she wouldn't even give them the time of day. One of my faves was a comment about how selflessly she went to Uvalde in a baseball cap sans makeup to help out. I guess they didn't see the camera crew she had in tow.
