It's pretty much brand new; less than a week.
If I were you, I’d go back to your Tiffany SA to get a better understanding of this special bracelet. If it is defective, it will be obvious to your SA. If it’s operating normally, my hope is that you will start enjoying it rather than finding things that don’t seen right to you now. Please let us know what you decide to do.

Thanks for the tips; this is my first nice jewelry piece so I wasn't sure if I am just being too particular or if these actually represent any defects. I purchased this bracelet from a Tiffany's store while on vacation; can I bring it back to my local Tiffany's store instead or do I need to return to the original store?

First, congratulations on treating yourself to such a special bracelet for your first nice piece of jewelry. Any Tiffany store will help you. It might be smart to bring your receipt with you, in case your bracelet is defective and could be exchanged.

Sorry for the delay; finally managed to stop in a store.
The SA told me the bracelet is performing normally.
I played around with some of the store models and all have the same amount of rattling when you shake it with a slight grittiness to it when opening and closing the mechanism.

Thanks again for everyone's help here!

Does anyone's lock bracelet rattle in the closed position? It looks like there's a little bit of play between where the thin half enters the thicker half. There's a bit of metal-on-metal rattling noise both when squeezing the bracelet in the closed position as well when as jiggling it side to side. .
mine rattles as well. pretty sure its a design thing as its pretty common

I'd like to suggest that those new to Tiffany's Lock bracelet realize it's not intended to be shaken or rattled. Its mechanism requires some "give" to allow the bracelet to swing open and close. My concern is that shaking and rattling a Lock bracelet might result in damage to the mechanism.

Does anyone have the new Lock earrings in small? I really want to get them but I rarely wear hoops and find them a bit too heavy (maybe I'll get used to them?)

I'd love to know experiences of people who have them

Please take a look at how low your ears are pierced before you buy what might be too heavy for your earlobes. You won't want the weight of the earrings to cause the holes to get larger/longer and possibly result in a tear. If you haven't already tried these on, please try to do that.

I’ve tried them on a didn’t find them to be heavy! I rarely wear large earrings and thought they were comfortable.
