I need some advise . I purchased a never full MM in black empreinte leather in May of 2024 . I just noticed that the bottom edges, the trim, is peeling off. I’m just a little disappointed , since it hasn’t been even a year since I got it. Will this be something that LV would repair , or would I have to pay out of pocket for the repair. Or is this normal for this bag.

Not possible for us or a store to know how you used the bag. It does show some abrasion, but this can happen with bumping/rubbing against surfaces. I expect LV to consider this wear and tear.

You can contact them online and ask. Services > repairs. If you need to pay for it, they’ll give you a price to repair and a shipping label. If you don’t want to pay for it, just don’t send it in.

For what it’s worth, I have the same bag in Turtledove, purchased in Nov 2023, used and abused regularly, 0 signs of wear and tear so far. I have bags from other brands that ended up looking like that after occasional use of a few months (if I cared that much about scuffs, I’d probably just take it to a leather person.) BUT… I’d expect better quality from LV, depending on how you’ve used it.

I was instructed to bring my bag in for "conditioning" around year 2 which really helped. I have the same bag and had scraped the straps and they ended up replacing them for free!
