I found BC and LP in Woodberry outlet in NY too.

So since they carry inventory from 1 year ago, how do I look for that year's catalog?
Sometimes you can just google the brand and collection year / season and you’ll find the runway/product photos.

WWD is often a good source… which I do pretty often for Kiton
For example this slideshow that I used recently

I called the LP outlet store, looks like I have to do a 1 time inperson purchase first and since there's no outlet here, the only thing I can do is go to the boutigue and buy something there first....

1. Good to know about Brunello. I'm 5'9 but very athletic with a T-shirt build. I ddn't know that Brunello is fat... so I'd have to tailor the waist area.

2. I'm thinking of just spending a few hundred at my local Hermes to ger access to the Birkin.
Don’t know anyone who can get access to a Birkin for a few hundred, but if you can, everyone here would love to hear every detail pls ;) I average about 5X plus between accepted bag offers, with X being the price of one qb, and I am not considered a particularly huge spender at my location. Some people may get what they want bag wise with a 2-3X spend, but I also reject some offers and don’t really have a wishlist. All I can say, is just buy what you love and what you would purchase otherwise (without a bag offers) and you should be fine

ETA: I would not buy any brunello, Loro P, or Hermes RTW on line without trying stuff on extensively first. Not sure how you will even ascertain if the stuff works for you. JMO

Agree here with @880, you need to know fit of various designers as that does make a difference
before ordering from outlets, JMO..
@saijin, your best bet is to go into the designer store get familiar with the brand & see for yourself.
In addition to Bruno, Loro Piana, there are a whole host of other designers who do beautiful quality
clothes for example Akris, Chanel, Dior, Max Mara you just have to find what is best suited to your figure as well
as your budget & many of these designers have seasonal sales here in the US as well as Europe

I would be careful buying from resellers, there are fake clothes out there too and not enough people able to properly authenticate them. I agree with everyone else's recommendation of trying things on in person and buying directly from the store (or authorized retailer or outlet).

I can't speak for Brunello (although my husbands brunello's are spectacular) but imo LP is worth every cent. Hermes leather rtw is really special but I don't think H knits beats LP

I learned so much from this thread...... and yea, I just got my SA assigned to me from BC outlet.
LP I'm going to the boutique in spring and pick up a polo or two.

Really want their Vicuna Scarf too..... is there a place you can get it for less than $5k ?

Elgin has scarves for less (4K) and stoles for more (8k) at full MSRP and every so often they’ll have some at 40% off this price)

Hermes has vicuña too

But I believe Loro has exclusive rights to vicuña and the other companies get it through them (other companies also use Loro fabric.

The same and for knitwear I prefer their items. 🤷 But they are very different as LP has an Italian aesthetic whereas Elgin has a Scottish one.
JOhnston Elgin right?

I'm looking at their vicuna scarves, since the color is basically the same natural color like LP's , I don't think I see a difference in aesthetic? And the only difference I see is price.... Elgin's is $2570 vs LP $5050

So this means LP charges more because of their Brand Name?

PS: Apparently Elgin is only in UK ? No USA store?
