Nice to see the Gaucho again on a guy.

Hi Guys, does anyone have B33 sneakers? Do you find them comfortable? For some time, with no luck, I’ve been looking for a nice, not too loud and also not to boring black sneakers, and today B33s caught my eye…I wonder how they would look with jeans and jacket, and if maybe they’re too sporty for casual work look? Thanks for any feedback!
Just got a pair actually! I appreciate how low-key it is but also "if you know, you know". Got a lot of compliments once people take a good look and notice the gravity leather with the monogram. I usually don't go for anything monogrammed but this is a subtle one. In terms of comfort, it did take a few days to break in.. the leather was stiff and did give me a few blisters at first. But also a quick tip as these run big (the SA told me their trainers are usually wider) so size down a number! I'm typically a EU 42 but got the 41 instead and they are still a bit roomy.

I think they honestly can be dressed up and down. Here are some recent outfits I wore them with!

My former SA who came back to Toronto but works for a different Dior store now was kind enough to order moon cakes for me! I haven't bought anything from him since he originally left, so it was very nice of him. The packaging isn't as elaborate as last year's, which opened like an armoire.

Just a question but how would you recommend approaching my SA about mooncakes? I’ve shopped at the Paris, Yorkdale Toronto, and Bloor St. locations. The Yorkdale store was a disaster, so I changed stores/SAs recently. I shopped quite a bit and I think I have VIC status. But since I shopped at different places, do you think I could still get one as a gift this year? Should I ask?

You should be able to get the mooncakes based on what you said. Contact the SA that you have purchased from recently and ask about the mooncakes. Sometimes it's just about the SA remembering to order them for you.

I will say, though, that their mooncakes are missing the salted egg yolk inside. Year after year, they don't have the egg yolk.

Thank you! Heading over there today so fingers crossed 🤞

So update: unfortunately didn’t get them. My S.A. told me you have to be nominated? And that only purchases made at that location counts. Meaning everything I purchased from before doesn’t count 😔
Sorry to hear. Hope that now that they know you want them, they'll nominate you for Christmas and Lunar New Year gifts.

DH is ordering a Dior MtM suit. He’s picking a midnight blue fabric. Here are try on pics where they are pinning a black size 52 suit and cutting it down. Dior runs smaller than Hermes MtM, where they work off of a size 48 or 50. He’s a size 48 Hermes RTW, and he has purchased Dior outerwear (cashmere top coat and peacoat) in size 48. Originally he picked a pattern (they have this pattern in both navy and dark gray. He went with navy). But, after sleeping on it, he asked to change it to a solid. It will make the suit look more cocktail/formal. He doesn’t find Dior shoes comfy, so will likely go with Corthay Paris or something from Leffot NY (Edward green, hiro yanagamachi etc). He and @Christofle have similar taste in shoe makers.

The suit is looking great!!!

I was waffling on a jacket with that crossed over breast detailing and I think this photo might have pushed me over the edge. 🙈🤣
Something like this from Perticone but in black cordovan or black box would like so good! Albeit I’m sure Hiro has some nice stuff too.
