I finally broke down and got another pair of 724s in the same wash as the ones I had (carbon glow). they fit. would have liked a different wash but my excuse for getting another pair in the same wash is I intend to have them shortened. the pair I have is a good length with boots but not with sandals. I think I can get the new ones to a length where they will be ok with both. guess in a way it would make more sense to just alter the first pair but since I wear jeans all the time it doesn't hurt to have a backup.I was thinking about the Venice jeans
I have quite a few pairs (not hundreds like some people) but I wear two the most.

I also wear jeans all the time (I think I fall into the hundreds category haha) You should get them shortened if you like that, myself I prefer my jeans a bit to longfor me it depends on the style of jeans...when I wore wider leg jeans I liked them long. but for skinny or straight jeans, too long doesn't look good IMONever wrong to have a backup

But I do understand that others don't like itso this week I need to take my new 724s to be shortened. I've measured and compared to other jeans I have and I think I have the length right. I want to be able to wear with boots and with sandals. can be tricky. If they're too short with the boots they won't stay down. the ones I have need to be rolled up with sandals and I don't like that with this style of jean. I i would definitely go for bit too long than too short, with boots I think they should touch or almost touch the ground. But thats just how I like mine

so I got the 724s shortened.
