Anyone know a hack or a way to shorten the chain strap on the mini baguette?

I’m currently looping it around the flap but always comes undone when going in and out and also doesn’t help with the sogginess.

I’ve brought those chain shorteners but they don’t help much.

Try connecting both ends of the chain strap to each other and looping it under the flap. I think I saw a YouTube video where someone did this, but I haven’t tried doing it myself. I ended up buying the regular size baguette.

Can veteran baguette fans share pros/cons of the mini baguette? I have two medium baguettes in the nappa leather and 2 vintage. I'd like to add a mini baguette to my collection but am generally not a huge fan of chain straps. I know I can play around with the strap or even try other straps so I'm more wondering about the bag itself. Do we love it or not so much? Thanks!

I actually find that regular baguettes don’t work for me, I don’t like the slouch but I adore my mini. It is by far my most used bag out of 20 I own. The perfect evening bag

They definitely are SMALL so trying one IRL is always the best option however, have you considered the vintage Mini Mamma Baguettes? looking them from the front they're not that much bigger than the current ones or the vintage ones but from the sides they are triangular so they will hold more, probably as much as a regular sized Baguette as long as the length of the item allows it and they usually come in more evening friendly variations
The main problem you will have is that they're usually undistinguishable in online listings from the vintage minis (which are even smaller than the current ones, more like the phone pouch) and you will need the measurements and side photos to notice whether it's a regular mini or a mini Mamma :smile:

This is probably a "Hand in Hand" baguette that i don't think has been 'publicly' unveiled yet, as in it hasn't been on a runway nor has a little video showing the know-how with the artisan. If it is it will likely be available for purchase upon request as part of the MTO program, eventually, in limited quantities for around the price of any croc piece that is actually available in boutiques if not a little more so... start saving
