I had my eyes checked a few weeks ago and now I have an appointment with a specialist. Apparently there is something wrong but they aren't telling me if it is serious. I can't get in until the end of the month. So that makes me nervous.
Fingers crossed it’s nothing too serious and can easily be corrected. Hugs!

We are recently back from a Caribbean cruise. DH told me to pick out some Christmas gifts while we were away, so I asked to stop into a jewelry shop in San Juan, Puerto Rico, that I like. Continuing on my mission to upgrade my jewelry, I picked out the below bracelets. The top is from Fope, an Italian brand; it’s from their Eka collection, yellow gold with a white gold rondel. The beauty is no clasps. Instead the bracelet has a spring system and you just roll it on and off. The bottom is a white gold and diamond flexibangle. They both go well with existing stacks I have. Got them at the start of the trip and wore them a ton throughout!

So pretty! They go so well together too.

We’re shut in the house by a wintry mix that’s closed down the city. (Ugh!) So, I won’t have any bag carries for a while.

But! That frees up time for me to think about bag #5 of 10 to be exited. My Max Mara Black Large Whitney. (Stock photos)

I use this bag for interviews and more formal business meetings… which means it hasn’t gotten much use lately. It’s sleek, has no logo, fits a laptop and has great internal organization. So, it’s perfect in every way EXCEPT that it’s heaaaaavy!

The weight combined with my expectation of limited future us is why I want to sell. However, despite the beautiful level of quality, these bags aren’t well known and sell quite poorly. It will probably sit on sale for over a year and IF it sells, it would be for only a few hundred dollars

So, I’m wondering if I should just keep it. Having things up for sale keeps energy tied up and this would be for next to no gain.

Opinions wanted and welcome. Has anyone come up with a solution for their heavy bags?

That’s Fantastic!

You’re on a roll!You must feel amazing❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yay! Way to go!

Thanks! In the scheme of things it’s silly but yes, it does feel great. ;) Having bags as a hobby has it’s moments.

Also, now that this is sold, I won’t feel bad about replacing it with the Chanel flap I actually want whenever I run across one. I’m hoping to find a pristine medium black single flap with 24k ghw and puffy quilts. But, gosh, I haven’t found one for any kind of reasonable price. :search:With what sellers are charging, there are other bags I’d prefer to have.

Take your time until you find “the one”- you don’t want something else to sell!❤️❤️❤️

Yesterday was my first day out of the year with my girlfriend shopping and lunching-this time testing my New Year’s resolution not to buy clothes until our day out in April for my birthday.

I chose the venue-a shopping mall with over 300 shops and 100 restaurants, but none of my favourite shops (so that I wouldn’t be tempted!)
But there Was Prada, Burberry etc, and I almost cracked and bought tons of clothing(and bags) etc.
I knew I’d have to confess here, and held my resolve, but it wasn’t easy…

We had a lovely Italian lunch.

My girlfriend bought lots of clothes and a pair of suede boots(none designer).
She doesn’t know about my resolution -or it would be broken.

I bought 2 eye creams, a pair of black shoes from All Saints(perfect for my planned trip to Paris later this year), and a Return to Tiffany silver bracelet with a pink heart and a diamond.

The next test to my resolution will be Paris Haute Couture week (beginning 27th January), which ignites my love of fashion and makes me want to buy a whole new wardrobe.

If it doesn't sell what about making it a go bag. Keep any important documents , photos , etc in it to grab in an emergency.

Yesterday I went to my local department store with a gift card I had. I looked at the bags and nothing spoke to me. I think they use this particular store as the dumping ground for all the ugly fashions that have not sold. They barely carry any real leather bags anymore. I didn't have time to drive to one that still carries nicer stuff. So instead of settling on a bag I liked but did not love, I bought a new pair of sunglasses as my DH absconded with my favorite wayfarers. For me that is big as gift certificate usually equal new bags. Trying hard to shop my own closet bag wise this month. I also returned a sport bag I ordered last month when they sent the wrong thing, but didn't replace it with another. Baby Steps!
